Pizza Patrón opens new location in Austin

HOUSTON – March 12, 2015 – Pizza Patrón today announced the opening of its new Austin, Texas restaurant located at Stassney Crossing, 5717 South IH-35. The store was opened by Pizza Patrón veteran franchisees Cibreo Centro, LLC. This is the company’s 4th location in Austin.

 

The store is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 11 a.m. to midnight Fridays and Saturdays. Call-in orders can be placed by dialing 512-444-9191.

Pizza Patrón makes its signature dough from scratch in every store daily.  The pizza sauce starts with fresh-packed, crushed Roma tomatoes and marinates for at least 24 hours with the company’s secret blend of spices and herbs. Some of the menu items the new store will feature include large pepperoni pizzas for only $5.99 every day, QuesoStix™, Wings, Patrón Dips™ and large specialty pizzas like ‘La Patrona’ (supreme pizza) at $8.99 every day.

Pratt Industries Honors Pizza Patrón with Environmental Impact Award

DALLAS – March 11, 2015 – Pratt Industries has honored Pizza Patrón with an Environmental Impact Award as part of its annual environmental awards program honoring some of its most socially responsible customers.

Through Pizza Patrón’s purchase of Pratt’s 100% recycled content packaging and use of closed loop recycling efforts, the pizza chain has made a significant impact on the planet for future generations.

From 2012 through 2014, Pizza Patron use of 100% recycled content packaging has saved more than:

  • 18,000,000 KWH of power
  • 14,860 cubic yards of landfill
  • 31,500,000 gallons of fresh water
  • 76,500 trees
  • 4,500 tons of CO2 emissions

Pizza Patrón Promotes Victor Vazquez to Vice President of Business Development

DALLAS – March 3, 2015 – Pizza Patrón announced today that it has promoted Victor Vazquez to vice president of business development. Vazquez will be focused on both domestic growth strategies and international expansion.

 

“Victor is a proven business leader and strategist that keeps the company’s growth and vision at the forefront of every business decision he makes,” said Antonio Swad, CEO of Pizza Patrón. “He’s spearheaded many intricate and difficult tactics that have been pivotal in positioning and revitalizing the growth of our brand.”

 

Vazquez joined Pizza Patrón in 2010 and has served in multiple leadership and project management positions within the company. His adept communications and negotiating skills have become widely recognized for achieving strong results as a recent industry trade publication noted his ’tact and amicable approach’ has earned him the nickname the ‘velvet hammer.’

 

“The vision for the growth of the brand has always been very clear. However, we’ve had many obstacles interfering with our trajectory,” said Vazquez.  “Now with clear skies, and our plane fueled and free of parasite drag, we are ready to reach our destination.”
